Your Body’s Many Cries for Water: You Are Not Sick, You Are Thirsty
Your Body’s Many Cries for Water: You Are Not Sick, You Are Thirsty Books
Product Description
It is beginning to be accepted that many illnesses which today plague countless millions of people worldwide spring from a simple, unrecognised cause – we don’t drink enough water. This is the medical discovery that Iranian-born Dr Batmangheldj outlines in this book – and if we drank more water daily, he says, many degenerative diseases may possibly be prevented and sometimes cured. Dr Batmanaghelidj first exposed the curative powers of water in a crowded Tehran prison where he was held during the 1979 revolution. The only medic among 3,000 terrified prisoners, in desperation he prescribed a single glass of water for an inmate dying of intense stomach pain – and the man recovered within minutes. In that moment, he asserts, “a new era in the advancement of medical science was born”. After his release near three years later, he escaped to the United States to start leading his own gentle, healthcare revolution from his home in Virginia. Largely ignored by the American Medical Association after presenting his findings to them near twenty years ago, his defiant response was to write this book.Amazon.com Review
As a result of extensive research into the role of water in the body, the author, a medical doctor, believes that he has found chronic dehydration to be the cause of many conditions including asthma, allergies, arthritis, angina, migraine headaches, hypertension, raised cholesterol, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, depression, and diabetes in the elderly.
According to Dr. Batmanghelidj, the body possesses many different thirst signals. A dry mouth is not a reliable indicator of your body’s water needs. He describes a variety of more reliable ones, and helps you learn to know when your body is calling for water. In this way, he claims you can preclude, handle, and cure a variety of conditions of ill health, at no cost, with what he calls nature’s miracle medicine: Water. The author clarifies how much water one needs to drink a day to stay healthy, and why tea, coffee, and sodas are not excellent substitutes for water.

I bought this book thought it will help my health. This is a book with a fancy cover but beyond that a bunch of dull dry chat. The book itself feels really cheap and many of the pages have errors. I read the whole book. Did it help my health? No. I read this book about a year ago. I just beacame more aware of water. There are no real matter-of-fact tips such as when to drink water and how much. What to add in the water? I don’t know what book to urge but don’t buy this one.
Also in my experience drinking too much water can make you feel tired as all of your salts are flushed out of your system. I have found that sometimes drinking water aptly when you get up is helpful. Drink about a cup. Drinking water on hot sunny days will help up to a top. But if it’s overdone you will feel tired.

If I drink 1 oz per 2 lbs, that is 110 oz of water per day. That is an insane quantity of water and also a ton of water consequence. Also, the fluid retention can be perilous as well as your body cannot keep up getting rid of that much water.
Thus, swelling occurs and pain happens.
I am deeply skeptical. I judge drinking water is excellent but 110 oz a day?

These are WORDS OF WISDOM, self-published at his own expense and because of the conspiracy to keep water a SECRET, by a Right Compassionate Saint, Scholar and Genius. I was not a healthy person before learning water. Thanks to water, I have cured myself of cancer of every major organ, leukaemia, anaemia and hyperchromatosis and auto-immune disorders such as lupus, scleroderma, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Wegener’s granulomatosis, Addison’s disease, Crohn’s disease, Sjogren’s syndrome,Goodpasture’s syndrome, and Grave’s Disease. I also had suffered from Parkinson’s Disease and Diabetes I and II and Hepatitis A, B, C, and D. Specialists were of no help – they accused me of hypochondriasis (and refused to test me for it although they referred me to a psychopharmacologist who prescribed several drugs – none of which were generic – thus supporting the conspiracy of the pharmaceutical industry and the government and the American Medical Association to keep America drugged and TOXIC)and told me that my tests were NORMAL and NEGATIVE – and refused to talk to me when I questioned WHO the arbiters of NORMAL were? WHO determines whether or not your red and white blood counts are “NORMAL”? I have not been able to get an resolution to this question. Do we have tests for EVERY viral and bacterial infection out there? NO! But with water, we don’t NEED tests or harmful drugs because water is THE CLEANER PAR EXCELLENT. Reckon about it – when you spill a substance, do you THINK about what it is before sponging it up? NO. You don’t need to reckon with water – it is natural and clear. It is odourless, colourless and tasteless. It is the perfect substance. If more people drank water and listened to their dying dehydrated cells’ calling out for the ELIXER OF LIFE, we would be a 3H – pleased, healthy and hydrated! Don’t let the naysaying of a few quacks who are only in it for the money deter you. Take your life into your own hands – drink water – lots and often!

The overall content of the book is outstanding in understanding the physiological benefits of water and our commitment to drink enough to balance our systems. I have had excellent consequences since beginning the goal to drink the prescribed daily amounts vs not drinking any water prior to reading his book. But, there is fantastic concern with the content on page 5 (paragraph one) that clarifies his position on the role of water. He states: “The role of water itself in the body of living species, mankind included, has not changed since the first creation of life from salt water and its later adaptation to fresh water. From a biblical perspective, man did not come from salt water but from God’s creation. (Genesis 1) Thus is the author acknowledging evolution by fish to the development of land animals?
