The WHO classification – is what it is, the definitive text.
What I am aggravated about is that my peers who ordered this book through the actual WHO website, have received their WHO books a month before me, even as I have still been standing on one foot coming up for my prerelease order on Nov 19 2008. (Originally this was to have come out Sept 1.)
When I ordered the older version of this text two years ago via the WHO website I had to wait no less then 8 weeks. That is why I chose amazon.com this time.
I would urge ordering from the WHO website for this, my colleagues have their copies long before me this time. this is vital especially if one needs this for an upcoming rotation.

I gave up on my Amazon order after months without getting it. The poor distribution of this book is well known. But, $900 for a $100 book is quite simply not aptly. I am sure the text is excellent but will wait for the publisher to get its act together.

it is a excellent book, but not a 5 star book for me. I wish i may possibly give 4.5 stars. I have both Foundation Heme and this one. I would say Foundation Heme is more well-written and clear.

There is certainly a exchange in this edition (esp. in the MDS classification). A must have as usual.
