Well, all I have to say about this book is that I ordered it nearly 40 days ago and I still have not received it! I know though that it is Powell books that has the problem because I ordered the workbook from amazon and it came within 2 weeks, as promised. Yay Amazon!

The content is detailed, informative and sometimes repetitive, but please work on the presentation! One would reckon that by the 7th edition, most of the mistakes in this textbook would have been corrected. I’ve seen numerous spelling errors and typos, as well as gone figures. This gives it a really unprofessional look, despite all the diagrams and the “simple to read style”. The editors should take a course in spelling and typing. If they do not have the time to do so, they should consider spending a few minutes to find out how the spellcheck option works. Proper spelling and grammar are very vital, especially for an educational material such as a textbook. Hopefully the eighth edition will turn out to be a bit better.

This book is very informative and simple to read and know. The chapters are small which means they are not trying to place in to much info all at once. I got this book for school and I really delight in reading it.
