I can only use thoughts of this book because I would need one which is more tailored towards the Australian mental health system. Nevertheless it is very helpful for me to find documentation strategies for my newly set up private do rooms. I would buy this book again.

This sourcebook is the best one I have found to help with beginning a clinical do and producing legal documentation.

I ordered this book five weeks ago and it was the best thing that I ever did for school. The book is helpful and can be used throughout ones career. There is so much in rank and every form imaginable you will need for counseling the drug dependent client with example forms as well. Brilliant book even if you are not required to have this book, just get it anyway.

I had to find an office and start seeing a few patients 6 months before I had plotted to open my part-time private do. Having read many books on the topic, I felt ready to get going. Alas, I did not want to spend a lot on a computer office management system when only seeing a few clients for now. Thankfully, after reading the reviews on Amazon.com, I found the Clinical Documentation Sourcebook. Due to quick shipping, I was able to be fully prepared for my first client. The book had simple to use forms that I may possibly duplicate. I was able to use many forms on a variety of issues that I hadn’t even considered. I am very pleased. I would urge this book to others as well.

I was hoping that this book would have some quick & simple, down & dirty, managed care friendly forms to use, and that the enclosed disc would let me modify them for my do. Not so. The “up to date” (please note the sarcasm!) forms entailed loads of writing – and were not anything that would help speed up the paperwork administer. The disc? What a joke. If you just want to spend money, take yourself out to eat – don’t waste it on this book!
