It’s a helpful book – but it needs an entry for “anarchy” and “anarchist”. Too many journalists seem unaware that anarchy is more than a synonym for lawless violence. Even the New York Times seems to confuse anarchists with neo-Nazis. An entry in a future edition “anarchy” and “anarchist” would be helpful.
The AP manual may possibly use a section on propaganda and how to detect/avoid it. Much of what passes for journalism in the US is basically propaganda. Demonization is of people and thoughts runs rampant in journalism today. The AP manual is a fantastic aid to improving the quality of journalism.

I have this book. It loses 1 star because: ball top pen? hot line? gunbattle? Who resolute that??? THEY SO KRAZEEEEE!!! But if you write, you need this book! PEACEOUT.

AP Style is the definitive “how to write” journalistically resource. It is evident that Amazon has not read it, otherwise they would not use those annoying commas before “and” in a run! AP Style provides a thoughtful, common sense approach to effectively communicating in any written medium. The “gospel” for writers!
