Checked out the Quantum Touch web site…and found a BEFORE and AFTER image that had very observably been digitally manipulated to give the appearance of a disfigured leg, her companions leg is even worse if you look closely! Also the Xray of the head has been taken at two slightly different angles to give the illusion of after ‘realignment’ Xray, this is harder to spot and had me fooled for a moment…until that is I came upon the ‘Photoshop’ image further down the page which shouldn’t fool anyone.
Well Mr Gordon when you ’stretch’ the truth
too far…out of desperation to sell a concept, not to mention books, tapes and lectures…people start to doubt every single claim that has been made.
What a pity. I was really going to buy this book.Why don’t you just tell it like it is. I plotting the claims were a small far fetched but I believed there may be some elements that were enlightening and informative…and maybe there are, but now I wouldn’t buy it on principle.

Last night this author spoke for 2 hours at my massage therapy school. Even as his claims are impressive and his technique is most likely effective, he presents nothing more than anecdotal evidence. After 20 years of involved this technique, I had expected better medical documentation, more empirical data, and better support of his hypothesis. Instead, Mr. Gordon started all of his tales with “There was this one time…” Even as I judge this may possibly be a spectacular technique to add to my training in massage therapy, Mr. Gordon’s presentation convinced me not to buy this book.

If you ever wonder why energy workers are stereotyped as newagey, flaky, and also inprecise in how they define energy, i.e. they say energy is in everything, you won’t wonder after you read this book. I picked this up on a whim, curious to see if it really offered a break through in energy healing.
There is nothing innovative about this book. You can find the concepts the author discusses in books on taoism and tantra that are better written and have a better explanation.
I tried his exercises out and found them to be not near as effective as he promised. If anything it seemed this was more like a diet lite soda than anything that promised a break through. I wouldn’t really urge this book.

IMHO I reckon this book has a lot of blah blah blah and not enough substance. If you have read something about accupressure, you don’t need this book. It has too many pages filled with no real in rank.

Quantum touch is a wonderful healing method, at least as it is presented in the book. The book is simple to read, and contains many “recreative” items, to make the tale pleasurable. So it is in all a pleasurable book, I found trying, but, to learn the technique aptly from the book. It is better to attend a live workshop, or maybe try the DVD (I haven’t).
