Psychology: From Science to Practice
Psychology: From Science to Do Books
Product Description
With a strong emphasis on application—without neglecting research and science—this text focuses on helping students use the findings and knowledge of psychology in their own lives and careers.
As the only introductory psychology text written by authors with extensive business experience, this book seeks the ideal balance between psychology’s matter-of-fact and scientific sides. It highlights psychology’s scientific nature even as simultaneously emphasizing its matter-of-fact value—how students can really use and apply the material they read on the job and outside of the classroom. Psychology: From Science to Do emphasizes three key goals:
• Make it clear to students how they can really use the findings and knowledge of psychology in their own lives and careers.
• Bestow psychology as a science.
• Discuss the major findings of psychology without overwhelming students with too much detail.

Brilliant in rank contained in the textbook; but, haven’t used it as often as I plotting I would because our teacher mainly gives us notes to study. If psychology were a part of my major I would certainly keep this textbook, but since it’s not, I will pass it on to someone else taking this class.
