This book is beyond out dated. You can’t read a thing in this book and guess it to be current. They also focus on a lot of nursing hogwash that is not applicable in the real world when caring for a patient. If you are buying this book to be a source then I suggest looking elsewhere, like a real medical book!

Fantastic reference. I work in oncology but have many patients who come to me with primary care questions (not to mention neighbors, friends, relatives, etc). This reference book has been so helpful in seeking more in rank on a variety of diseases. Comprehensive, readable, broad and yet inclusive of the data I needed.

Brilliant text! Simple to read, complicated terms are defined in text as you read and each dianosis has complete etiology, pathophysiology, differential diagnoses, treatment, management and follow up, as well as in rank on when and to whom to refer.

This book provides not only the necessary components to meet AACN (CCNE) and NONPF guidelines for program curriculum, but provides wonderful clinical guidelines for do. This book has replaced Uphold and Graham in our FNP program!
