This was a required textbook, and honestly after paying 80-something, I expected a larger heavier text, but this book is well written, with succinct chapters, and it covers everything you need to know about Disease Mgmnt, Populace Health, ROI, Wellness programs, how to design and evaluate a program, etc.
Rating: 5 / 5
I am about half way through the book and I am not impressed. The auther leaves many aspects out and does not even talk about third party administrators which is a large part of the “Health insurance industry”. HIPPA is glossed over like it is no huge deal.
It does have it possitives though and will learn something from this book. Opportunely the instructor for this class brings out the better parts.
