I preferred this to the paberback until my subscription expired. Immediately (early AM) after the expiration date, this stopped working COMPLETELY. It required a hard reset to get my PDA back up. No book will place you stranded like this.
You can fool it by resetting your device’s current DAY/DATE to prior to expiration, but why should I have to????
