Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers: Pedfacts Books
Product Description
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is pleased to result in you Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs), a new national pediatric first aid course. Caregivers and teachers need to know what to do when a child is injured or becomes suddenly and severely ill. Most injuries that require first aid are not life-threatening. Ordinarily, first aid involves simple, common sense procedures. But, first aid can sometimes mean the difference between life and death. All caregivers and teachers should have pediatric first aid training.

This was required reading for my college child development cpr class. This book is biased with fantastic in rank and I urge this to anyone who has children and people studying cpr and first aid in general. Although this contains similar in rank for adult cpr the in rank is specific to handling children in emergencies. Delight in.

Chock full of fantastic info, but organized in a way that is mediocre. The info is very comprehensive, but it is just presented in a way that doesn’t stab in your head clearly. There’s a small too much “if not, then skip to #4″ or “if so do X, which was covered earlier.” I found the DK book “First Aid for Babies and Children Quick” to be much clearer and to the top; it’s a small less detailed/wordy, but much clearer, which I reckon is what will help things stab in one’s head for use in case of emergency.
