This book like many similar starts with two valid premises: we would all like to cure cancer and we want to do it in a way without nasty side effects.
The downfall of this book, like many similar, is that the treatments proposed are not everlastingly free of side effects, and their track record is at best unknown, or at most terrible pathetic. For example the cesium advocated here can cause a particular kind of heart irregularity and has been linked with sudden deaths in people taking this tablets. An example of the latter: laetrile works in <1% of cases--I gather most doctors consider a potential drug with this kind of activity to be useless and not worth developing: this doesnt stop it being sold to people I know for many $$.
As with so many other things: if it seems too excellent to be right it probably is. Dont waste your money.

I bought this book groundbreaking new from Amazon and was a tad disappointed. I plotting I was going to get a very fascinating, innovative, description of what causes cancer, and the resolution was too pat – “modern living.” Anyone may possibly have told me that and I wouldn’t have had to pay them. I also plotting there might be info on over the counter supplements and how to preclude cancer. The huge chapter on how root canals and fillings are giving people cancer was fascinating, but I didn’t reckon it deserved a whole chapter, still, I’m sure people who are plotting to get their silver fillings replaced should probably follow the hints in it.
All the detailed info on all the fad alternative therapies did not impress me enough to read them – yet. Those are things that rich people do who can pay cash.
Unfortunately, I’m worried this will be one that I give to the library or sell at a garage sale. It just wasn’t what I was expecting, but nice effort.

Not as thorough as I had hoped for, there are others out there much more concise and comprehensive than this one. One chapter was helpful – the rest was info that I found easily on the internet.

I am now studying in a naturopathic program and am constantly purchasing new books on alternative health, not just for cancer, but other disorders. That being said, I have accumulated quite a library. After reading this book, though it has some worthwhile info in it, I have several other books that are far better, written by alternative health physicians or nurses who are more qualified to discuss these topics and have more experience dealing with cancer patients. They also have a fantastic deal more in rank in them. This book leaves out some really vital up-to-date treatments, though it does cover some of the older remedies.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I resolute to be empowered and gather as much info on treatment including alternative treatments. This book is quite informative and has given me comprehensive in rank that I would probably not have obtained from any other resource. I would urge that any one who is facing the experience of cancer, read as much as you can on conventional and alternative treatments, and of course, make your own independent, private and INFORMED choice. May you have the best outcome on your road to recovery.
