As a BS Nursing student who is just getting into the heavy Clinicals, I’ve explored a relatively large number of Nursing Diagnosis books and so far this is the simplest to navigate and provides *everything* I need to help with my care plans, including the all vital rationales – something surprisingly gone in many Nursing Diagnoses books. Significantly, It also includes references within the diagnoses description(s) to help with the EBP (Evidence Based Do) part of care plans as well.
If you are a nursing student, I highly, highly urge this!

I used this book extensively for my clinical paperwork. It gives you suggested diagnoses for different diseases/symptoms, w/ suggested interventions and outcomes. It really sped up the quantity of time it took me to complete all of those care plans for clinicals every week. This manual is the best for finding things quickly, and in nursing school saving time filling out all that paperwork is worth it’s consequence in gold. Most of the reference manuals suggested by instructors I never used – this one really was very helpful. I urge it to any nursing student who has to write a lot of care plans, or who has difficulty with appearance up with nursing diagnoses.

We had a list of books to get even as I was in nursing school. I didn’t know any better and bought them all at once. Well the nursing dx book on our list was horriable to place it nicely. The teacher didn’t even know how to use it! I researched on amazon and this book got the best reviews so I bought it and guess what all the research paid off it is one of the best books for nursing dx!!! All my classmates sought after to borrow it I made them buy their own. Thank God I was able to sell my other book for about the same price as this one on amazon. Sorry for that nursing student. So if you are in nursing school and you want to get 100% on your nursing dx buy this book!!! I only gave it 4 stars because they may possibly have made it a small more user friendly, but I did get use to it. Excellent luck fellow nurses!
