I have bought different medical drug books but was not pleased because they did not have all the meds I sought after to look up. Well, I will have to keep looking for that book because this one, for being printed for most recent updates, sure isn’t up to date! I was just prescribed a newer tablets but it is not in this book…I found out it is in my 1990 book! Makes no sense. If I’d known this, I would not have bought this book.

I bought this for my daughter who is everlastingly calling and asking about medications she’s been prescribed. Now she says she needs a book with pictures.

This Pocket Drug Guide 2010 is pretty excellent but because they are crammed for space and a lot of info, the writing is tiny and they cram it all in there with a lot of abbreviations so you better know what they all mean in order to know it. It’s small enough for your jacket or large side shirt pocket but I haven’t really opened it very much because I have been carrying my Med Surg pocket guide nearly more to help me with assessments since I’m still in nursing school. I reckon it’s a product worth having if you want to learn all the abbreviations that are in it.
