I am in grad school and this is one of my required texts. I will say that after having had it for a link of months now, the in rank is relevant to the class and simple to read. The price for all my textbooks were better on Amazon. I just searched using the ISBN number to make sure I had the aptly one.

I am just starting a degree program in Healthcare Informatics and this book gave a very excellent overview of the basics. What the standards are, how sickbay informatics systems are set up. Very readable.
