4 STAR DOODY’S REVIEW!
“The purpose is to bestow a consistent approach to the trying and failed airway in all clinical settings. The potentially catastrophic consequences of failed airway management make this a vitally vital goal, and the authors have produced a book that teaches how to avoid or minimize these risks….This well written book provides a well integrated approach to the management of trying airways. It remains readable even as being comprehensive. It certainly should be required reading for any clinician caught up in airway management.”–Doody’s Review Service

Very detailed text that includes a ton of info including details on multiple airway management techniques, Fantastic case reviews. well worth getting. I would have given it five stars but some of the chapters read like a summation of journal aricles that are reviewed. It should read more like a text book and less like a discussion at a journal club but I would add it to any em docs library anyway.
