It arrived on time. It said it had no underlines or highlighting. Both were incorrect as it had underlining and highlighting. It was also out of date for the exam I needed to take so I had to order another.

This book was a required text for a graduate-level addictions course. This book proved to be a excellent introductory text for students and can be used by addictions counselors (or other practitioners treating addicted clients/patients) as a reference text.

I read this book because another reviewer not compulsory it for anyone who knew someone with an addiction come forth. The author writes so well and the knowledge I gained I will everlastingly be thankful for. It is the perfect primer. I hope the author will write more.

Book is an brilliant review of the material and in rank necessary to perform interventions with chemically dependent patients. Material is presented in such a way that the book can be later used as a reference guide when needing additional material for group presentations.
