I should have paid attention to the other reviews for this seller. Seller did not send the book ordered and would not correspond or communicate in any form. Don’t waste your time. Amazon should not do business with this seller, it makes Amazon look terrible.

The book came within a week of ordering it. Groundbreaking new, I reckon still in wrapper. Saved a ton of money… very excellent.

Professor Corwin’s book offers a glimpse into chemistry. It is well laid out and honestly simple to read. From edition to edition there have not been many advances in basic chemistry which leads me to question, why are there new editions?
I found the Organic Chemistry componenet to be a bit gone. The author switched between nomenclature methods, which leaves the pressured chemistry student quite lost. As most intro classes cover O-Chem in the few remaining days of the term. – But I digress.
The mathimatical formulas are simple to follow. When they go off beam, it can make this topic quite daunting and simple to lose sight of a excellent end in the class.
To conclude – a well laid out book, a pointless new edition, and some faulty math.
If it is required for a class see if an earlier edition will do.
