If you are forced to take epi, buy this book. The only thing better is to cheat off your neighbor. Lots of helpful examples and do exercises.

this book does a honest job of introducing someone to the world of epidemiology. The book is often trying to know. There will be a type of statistical method clarified, yet no example on how to do it. There is no glossary. The chapter focused on the history of epidemiology is quite excellent.
