Research shows that what we know in our hearts is right. What the state forces us to do through testing takes us really in the opposite direction of what helps children to learn most. heaps of excellent insights in this book; I am still reading it.

This is a nice book on the vital topics correlated to how people learn. It serves as an introductory text from which you can gather relevant references on the issues that are of the most interest to you.
The copy I bought at Amazon was defective, though. It was gone more than 20 pages!! But after I contacted the publisher, they quickly sent me a substitution book with no payment at all. (I did not try to contact Amazon for dread that the whole Amazon stock is defective in the same way.)
