How Doctors Think
How Doctors Reckon Books
Product Description
How Doctors Reckon is a window into the mind of the physician and an insightful examination of the all-vital relationship between doctors and their patients. In this myth-shattering work, Jerome Groopman explores the forces and plotting processes behind the decisions doctors make. He pinpints why doctors succeed and why they err. Most vital, Groopman shows when and how doctors can — with our help — avoid snap judgments, embrace uncertainty, communicate effectively, and deploy other skills that can profoundly impact our health.

You sent me two copies of this title in CD form, neither worked. I questioned for refund or a copy of the book of the same title. I have had no response from your staff!

The book was poorly written in my attitude. The tales that demonstrated the points were often laid out in a haphazard manner. The bottom line was that it really did not tell us how doctors reckon and what to do about it. I finally just quit rather then go on

I included a chapter on this theme in HONEST NUTRITION. Medical doctors share the same thought errors as alternative practitioners and nearly anyone else.
I placed this book in a clinic library counter, and place notes in mail boxes. It appears they are worried to touch it. Most of us do not want our thought to be examined.

Dr. Groopman has done a remarkable job with his book, “How Doctors Reckon.” I would urge it to those who are interested in learning more about the medical community.

I loved this book. I have read Dr Groopman in magazines and his writing is everlastingly lucid and fascinating. This is a book I am giving to my doctor to read.
