As an anesthesia source I was looking for a concise handbook to refer to before or during a case. This handbook had fantastic potential…excellent format, helpful in rank. Unfortunately it has too many errors…errors in calculations, drug dosages, side effects, etc. Vital stuff! If you’re looking for a excellent anesthesia handbook, keep looking! This one may get you into distress.

Ok…so I absolutely like Dr. Nagelhout. He is really one of my teachers in anesthesia school. But, this edition the index numbers do not match up to the page numbers, so it is very frustrating.
The in rank contained within the book is very excellent though. It tells you the need to know in rank and is fantastic for clinical use.

I bought this book and found it extremely helpful in my clinical do. I found the in rank to be concise and simple to locate in the operating room. I highly urge this handbook; it is a must have for any involved anesthetist. I also did not find any of the errors that another reviewer mentions, they should look again.
