I make genograms as part of my job in private social service work. I plotting this book would be a excellent backup for previous training, but it does not serve that purpose. But, it does give me clarity on how the genograms that I build have ultimate use by counselors and child protection workers. And the birth-order in rank is a fascinating read.

If you’re not familiar with Genograms you will after you read this book. It tells you how to use this book for your family sessions and by using genograms as an therapeutic technique. It I urge you buy a genogram software so it can help you do what. It doesn’t come with a CD. Which is the down side of this book you will have to pay extra money for that.
