This book is brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I have read a ton of diet and nutrition books over the years and this is one of the best. It encompasses all the aspects you need to lead a more balanced and healthy life–and with this the consequence just sort of “melts” off. It’s a really fantastic, simple read with tons of tips and in rank, all presented in a really engaging format. I’d urge it to anyone who’s interested in exploring something other than another habitual diet. Fantastic book!

I am so excited about this book! I bought this book a small more than a month ago, and gradually ongoing implementing the suggestions. Even as, as the authors suggest, I am not closely tracking my consequence, I do know that I have lost at least ten pounds since I started.
I like that the authors look at consequence-loss/health from many angles and encourage the reader to implement the suggestions in whatever way works best for the individual. That’s just so what I’m doing. Even as many consequence-loss plans talk about lifestyle changes, this really feels like a lifestyle exchange — one that I can fully embrace indefinitely.
I was already a huge fan of taking a nutritional approach to chronic health problems. “Nutritional approach,” by the way, doesn’t mean “eat aptly and take a daily multi-vitamin.” A nutritional approach involves correcting chemical imbalances that result in health issues. Some years back I cured my alcoholism using the nutritional approaches advocated by Joan Mathews Larson (“Seven Weeks to Sobriety”) and Julia Ross (“The Mood Cure” and “The Diet Cure”), but I wasn’t really ready to tackle consequence loss until now, and I sought after a fresh start. So I looked for a new book and found this one.
Even as I was working with Julia Ross at her clinic, she told me that I may possibly come to crave vegetables, and I was amazed. I didn’t get there at that top, but now I have. I am making the largest, most healthful and tasty salads and devouring them. I’m slicing up radishes and raw turnips, chopping up dandelion greens, carrots, zucchini and cucumbers, using minimal dressing, and loving every bite! I’m correcting the imbalances that steered me toward less healthful foods.
And about energy: This past weekend was the Fourth of July, and we have an annual tradition that makes it simple for me to compare my energy level this year to previous years. The kids swim in the lake every year, but this is the first time that I have gone swimming with them — I swam in the lake two days in a row and loved it! I played with the girls with robust energy and had a blast! We drove home in traffic for three hours, and for the first time ever, after we pulled into the driveway, I sought after to unpack the car and get the food place away so it wouldn’t spoil. I have never in my life come home from a trip with energy to unpack the car. Unless my spouse does it, it doesn’t get done. But last night it felt fantastic getting everything out of the car and getting all the food place away, and then after dinner my older daughter and I went out for a long walk!
All my life I’ve struggled with self judgments that I’m bone idle because I don’t want to do all the work that other people do. But I am really convinced that “laziness,” which we reckon of as a character flaw, is really low energy due to chemical imbalances — and those imbalances can be easily corrected. Alcoholism, depression, laziness, obesity: These are not matters of character, they are matters of brain chemistry.
I’m disappointed that this book is out of print. But thankfully it is simple to get a used copy. Best of luck to you, dear reader!

This book is so fantastic for people like me who can’t seem to lose consequence. I’m a massage therapist, and even as in massage school, I gained a lot of consequence, and I never was able to take it off. I eat organic as much as I can, I eat natural foods, and I don’t over eat at all. I hardly eat, so why am I stout?
This book shows you that you need to start with the mind. Meditation and selected Bach Flower Essences to help. They write that you’re hefty because you have a health imbalance. So they tell you Vitamins that will help you, rich Whole Foods, Cleansing, Tai Chi, Acupressure and Acupuncture. So if you haven’t figured it out already, the focus is really health, not consequence loss, although they say you will anyway.
I also like that in the back of the book they set up a Menu for the week, and by Seasons. The talk of the importance of not only eating organic, but eating local, eating by the seasons.
Really, it’s a fantastic book. I found it without looking for it, I went to the book store out of boredom one day and found this book. I found it on Amazon to send to a supporter and here it had no picture and no reviews. So I helped it by the side of, because this is a fantastic fantastic book for sensible consequence loss and a holistic approach that I can’t judge is not done more often. No one really ever tackles the mental aspect of consequence loss.
I can’t wait to start my journey with this book, and I hope you do too!

I loved the book Feeling Light, immensely. It had a lot of helpful in rank and gave a certain program for the reader to use. Not a diet, but a complete exchange of lifestyle. Brilliant book.

I was so attracted to the many truths that are in this book. If you are someone that has tried alot of diets like I have, you will delight in reading about why they didn’t work. This book is full of realistic lifestyle changes that will fit anyones hectic schedule. I hope it comes out on audio.
