I absolutely like this book. Not only is it well written, well organzized and plotting out, but as the title suggests, it’s just about everything you need to know in a nutshell. It’s evident that the author is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she is talking about. The private tales she shares about “real” patients she has really taken care of, helps you to realize just how vital the in rank is that she has just given you. She has taken the in rank you would normally get from multiple textbooks and taken out all the filler in rank (typically thrown in just so that they can make the books larger and payment more money)and she has given you the abridged version. What you get in this book is all the “vital” stuff! What you really need to know! She has covered just about every medical emergency that anyone will see if they are working in Emergency Medicine and she has given you all the facts! She covers just about everything from giving you the Definition to the Causes, Signs and Symptoms and the Interventions! I’m very glad that I bought this book and I Highly urge it to anyone who is caught up with Emergency Medicine, even those in the pre-sickbay setting, such as EMT’s and Paramedics may possibly very well benefit from the knowledge they would gain by reading this book.
