A must read for individuals caught up in Forensic evaluations! Informative. Clear. Relevant. The reader will greatly benefit from the contributors advice, experience and suggestions pertaining to a number of forensic issues.

This book has a superficial review of issues in forensic psychology. Perhaps helpful for a student in an initial review of the theme, it lacks any depth for the practitioner who is generalizing skills into specific areas in the forensic domain. I am sure there are more helpful and valuable books for the practitioner.

The book was just okay as a very basic overview, but I was disappointed. A very superificial overview of each topic that was presented, much was redundant from other texts. For example, how many times can one read about using the MMPI-2 in forensic assessments. Furthermore, the cover said that the book covered newer malingering instruments, such as the MPS. But, the coverage of the MPS was about 7 lines and pretty useless.
