I am the Owner/ Director of a small Dental Assisting School and we USE this as our textbook.
It is well organized, and simple to use. Throughout the book, vital points are bulleted and highlighted in prominent areas for quick reference. Everything a new dental assistant ( or dental assistant who needs to refresh) would need or delight in is available in this book.
My suggestion for self-study is to buy the workbook question well. In this manner you will be able to test your knowledge.
