I have used “Facts” for the last 8 years as my number place of reference. This book has brilliant charts comparing classes of drugs. A must for the professional health care source (especially pharmacists) or pharmacy student. Too much in rank for most, but as a pharmacist it’s perfect.

A #1 reference for cost comparison and complete doseage guides. It is now available in CD format, but it is overpriced, ~$420, and it has mouse bugs on my trial copy. It would help to include current indiscriminate prices rather than their standard cost index quotes; even if they outdate it would still give you a ballpark thought of the cost. It’s nice to have a relatively nonbiased reference to choose from, and interactions and listing of all drugs in a particular goup in one place makes it a quick, thorough, and simple reference

Forget the PDR, this text is the ‘bible’ of pharmacists in theUSA (I’m one of them). For home use, the paperback edition veryhandy. The accuracy and objective in rank is brilliant. END

I delight in this book as a quick convenient reference to carry with me on rounds. Its got quite a bit of applicable in rank for dosing, drug employment and dosing adjustments for optimal therapies. It is also convenient as it is thwart-referenced with trade as well as generic names and lists components of all/most similar products to help physicans to adhere to formulary tablets choices.
