I don’t like this book because the answers to the test questions are not clearly stated. It doesn’t tell you resolution “A” is aptly and why. It just gives a general thought about the question.
Rating: 1 / 5
Overall this was a fantastic book in helping me prepare for the NCLEX! I especially liked that multiple test items were included throughout each chapter including multiple choice, select all that apply, hot spot, and prioritization. It was also very beneficial to use the CD in addition to the questions in the book. Has been very helpful in preparing for the exam and knowing which content areas to go back and review.

I am rating this book one star due to the fact that all of the priority questions have the incorrect answers – even the sample question Box 2.7 on page 14. Although the verbal resolution to these questions are right, the lettered answers are not in the right order. I have not yet determined if there are other mistakes throughout the book or not.
I have to disagree with the review regarding “the answers to the test questions are not clearly stated. It doesn’t tell you resolution “A” is aptly and why. It just gives a general thought about the question.” Not only does it give the letter resolution it gives a small rationale to the right and the incorrect answers as well as test-taking tips, content area, and references for each question. If it weren’t for my concern regarding WRONG answers, I would probably rate this book 5 stars.
I have contacted the publisher and am coming up for a response. I will post an update when/if I hear back. As for this edition, don’t waste your time or money.
