This is a fantastic and informative book, although, as with all medical literature over one year ancient, it is outdated. I bought the book to make certain I knew and understood the use of modifiers. I was pleased to realize that I must have a rather firm grasp on the theme as I may possibly recognize the changes that have been made since the publication of this book. I would not urge this book for a “newby”, wanting to learn the up-to-date use of modifiers, although it does cover some of the judgment questions rather well. It helped me know why we have the system of coding we presently use and has been informative in that respect.
