In such type of books there is everlastingly a problem of indexing–
classified drugs ( systemwise drugs) has not given the page number and brand name and generic name both index should be there for page to look in to it, which is not there.

It is trying to look up specific drugs on a Kindle. Kindle’s look up brings up random occurances of the drug and it is trying to figure out which one is the actual drug reference. The author uses a multitude of abbreviations which make it slow going once you really find the drug. I only have it on the Kindle and cannot comment on the print version.

I’ve been ordereing this reference every year for about six years now. What I like about this drug reference book is that there is a clear index in the back so all the drug names are simple to find, both generic and brand names are provided, the dosages are clear, the counter-indications are listed, and it tells what the drug is used for. I hightly urge the Scut Monkey.

You CAN look up the generic or brand name in the back index. I can look up just about any drug quicker than I can fire up my PDA. This is as of now the best pocket reference out there, better than Tarascon or PAPR. Just my two cents…. I won’t let a few terrible reviews ruin my excellent experience. Heck, if you’re curious just flip through it at Barnes and Noble and see for your self what an brilliant tool it really is.
