I found this book nearly 15 years ago when first designing a run of clinical trials for cytomegaovirus prevention in organ transplantation. It is a very matter-of-fact “how to” volume, extremely well written and concise. I urge this to all clinical investigators who are starting out, and for all trainees. I have been coming up for his revised edition for over a decade and only hope he will update this fantastic book.
