This book was okay for a primary care PA as an overall review, but certainly nowhere near detailed enough for anyone in a cardiology specialty.

As a new Nurse Practitioner with a Cardiology do, this book is a nice introduction to many topics that I encounter on a daily basis, caring for patients with cardiac issues.
Simple to read, smooth reading..Not too technical, but gets basic topics accross, and it serves as a nice transition for new practitioner.

Well written, clear with helpful charts and “pearls”. This is not an exhaustive review and has minimal pathophysiology in rank – so look elsewhere for that. It is a clinically oriented, excellent beginning text or review for the boards. Each topic is covered in a small section from several perspectives – disease entities, classes of meds, and then integrated by presenting complaint.
