I’ve had cancer (and recurrances) for 7 years, and I’ve read every book on every aspect of the theme, and this book is the absolute most terrible I’ve yet to come across. LeShan writes a weird mixture of vintage voodoo and goofy “new-age” hype. LeShan’s lethal psychobabble can be literally deadly as he lures frightened, newly-diagnosed cancer patients into drinking oceans of green tea even as even as scaring them away from conventional, proven treatment. Avoid this book, and the others like it, unless you want a excellent laugh.

WOW!!! What a fantastic way to look at things… at life itself… this book should be required reading for anyone who’s still alive – whether they’ve had cancer or not!!!

This book was not compulsory by a cancer therapist and provides powerful testimonials from patients who have used a major health crisis to re-evaluate and re-cast their life’s direction. In so doing, many conquered what otherwise would be a death sentence. The advice is valid not only for cancer victims, but for all who are ready to take control of their lives and allow the mind and spirit to make the most of our powerful immune system and disease-fighting capabilities. A very uplifting and provocative book.

My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer not too long ago. He is 87 years ancient and has had a very full life. This book was not compulsory to me by the family member of another pancreatic cancer patient. The book is warm, right and full of both tangible medical strategies and spiritual hope. It has given me fantastic comfort in this time of such unrest. If you are looking for a bit of light in this fantastic time of darkness in your life this is the book to get. -Blessings
