Impeccable printing and binding, but the dictionary can only be a disappointment for English speakers wishing to use it to work in Polish. The book targets only Polish speakers seeking to work in English. For the Polish user, there is a 75-page supplement at the end treating English grammar, English correspondence, English geographical names, English-Polish fake friends, etc. For the English user, there is nothing of the kind. Even as the individual entries in the Polish-English section do give some indications of usage, there are no means offered to verify a verb form, check a declension case, etc. The to some extent smaller Langenscheidt Pocket Dictionary Polish is far superior. Though it offers a smaller vocabulary – 50,000 references hostile to the 55,000 of the Cambridge dictionary – it offers grammatical help for both English and Polish users, providing the English user with helpful declension and conjugation tables, something really absent in the larger dictionary. In addition, I found the vocabulary of the Langenscheidt dictionary more helpful than that of the Cambridge dictionary.
