The book is a fantastic pick. It is an required reading for the Introduction to Somatic Psychology class taught at California Institute of Vital Studies in San Francisco.
I haven’t read all the book, but the content and slimming through it encouraged me to stay consistent and study. I want to be able to teach what I am reading. Your book is wonderful.

I have read this book several times now and use this work in my clinical pratice. The theory and do are both simple to know and matter-of-fact to use. This work has positively impacted how I know and work with my patients and how I work with myself as a therapist. This is a must have book for all therapist. Clinically sound, relevant, and worth the investment.

I found this book to be strait to the top. I like it because it provided the in rank you need to start using body based interventions quickly. But, it was hard to get through because of how dry of a read it is. Still it is a fantastic book to start with and provides the knowledge one would hope to get from such a book.
