My uncle had stage 3 colon cancer, so i plotting id read up on it. I told him about this book and he stopped his chemo to try a nutritional solution.
He died 3 weeks later

The book was a huge disappointment for me. It is a typical pleased book about the dreadful way that Americans eat and encouraging more of the same..
Terrible advise on diet and eating.

I had high expectations from this book given brilliant customer reviews on Amazon. But, the book falls small on several counts.
1. There is nothing in this book that you can not already find on the internet easily. All the herbs, fruits, vegetables, nuts, yogurt, lean meats, low stout diet, mentioned in the book can be found on any nutrition website, in fact even [...] website lists these items with their “purposed benefits”!
2. I have only read the first 2 chapters and glanced thru the rest of the book. Within the first 2 chapters and at least in a few other places, the author repeats some favorite sentences like “No one gets cancer from a lack of Adriamycin”, “Near lethal doses of chemo, radiation and surgery”, “To cure cancer, drink a bottle of arsenic, it will kill the cancer and kill you…”, etc.
3. Every chapter and every paragraph tries to debunk medicine and sell nutrition. Get real dude!
4. The book’s basic premise is that medical science offers treatments to “debulk the tumor from your body” and you need to make a supportive ecosystem within the body to preclude the disease from appearance back. The premise sounds aptly but the anecdotes of people stopping medical treatment and improving their shape up with nutrition based is misleading and may cause people to stop treatment.
This book goes back tomorrow to Amazon!

Because of the title I bought the book, because I am hostile to using chemo and radiation, so when I saw the title “Beating Cancer with Nutrition”, that’s what I believed it to be about.
If you know nothing about vitamins and don’t have the internet, this book will interest you.
Also because he has a book entitled, Healing Secrets from the Bible”, I didn’t reckon he was going to rely on conventional methods, but he does advocate radiation and chemo.

This book felt like something written in the style of the 1890s. It doesn’t address the need to eat whatever will stay down. There are so many points of view on nutrition but the bottom line is to eat what one can eat.
