I have to say it’s really “basic”. I didn’t mean that it’s worthless.But it’s not worth the price. It suits the one who is interested in horsemanship but doesn’t have any experience in riding . The major drawback is the pictures or graph are not enough for the reader to make a precise and vivid image of what the author trys to bestow. And this is silent helpful for novice riders.isn’t it?

It is a very excellent book to remind riders the basic techniques and to improve riding skills. It is very comprehensive which includes the basis of horsing to showing.

This is an awesome book teeling just about everything you need to know about basic riding! The index is full of pictures about tack, brushes and parts of the horse! It seems like you have a trainer aptly there with you helping you by the side of the way, going at your pace! It is a fantastic book for all!

I read this book just to see if I was riding the right way because I taught myself. I learned a lot and it has helped me know my horse better. It would be a fantastic book for a Novice Rider or new Instructer. Anyone will benifit from reading this to improve their skills!
